I am so looking forward to my "planned" short getaways.

To be able to go on a trip together we need to consider the time/date factor.
We finally set the date ~ 24th -26th Oct since its a public holiday on 25th and then its wkend.
So we are going to disappear on Thurs and that won't cause much problem since its only a day ....

The aunties just got sore-eyed and asked ..: "If you all go on a trip together, there will be no one in the office ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Hellooooo, aunties, what do you mean by no one ?
What happen to the other ladies in the office ? Don't tell me the others i see every day are ~~~ WoooWooo

Please , its just the GM, the GM's secretary, the logistic mgr and the acct assist going on leave for a day ...

I hate teething sessions !!

I've been wasting ALOT of food lately cause Ryan is going through his teething session now, 3 teeth at a time & I see another 1 on its way.
He hasn't been eating his solid food for a month now.

I never had this issue with Damien, he was a slow eater but he finishes his food when he was a baby. I wonder if its because Damien started teething at 6 months old way earlier than Ryan, who just started recently.

I hope his eating habits will resume after his teeth have pop out.

Till then, I'm keeping my finger crossed :(

Engineer Wannabe

It was Ryan's Chinese Lunar Birthday last Saturday and i thought why not try Chinese traditional thingy, where the kid pick out the item that interest him the most to "determine" what he will be when he grow up.
*Just for Fun*

So I put a few items for Ryan to pick :-

1. Triangular Ruler (Engineer)
2. Thermometer (Doc/Nurse)
3. Calculator (Accountant)
4. Pen (Writer/ Poet)
5. Book ( Teacher/ Scholar)

He picked the ruler & calculator, so I guess he wants to be an engineer.
After all an Engineer is require to calculate length,width, depth and etc ..............

When No 2. Came along

When i was pregnant with Ryan, i make it a point for Damien to sayang Ryan who was still in my tummy.
I make sure he was involved in the prenatal check ups .. talk to him about being a Big Brother..
When i was pushed out of the delivery ward with Ryan in my arms, Damien stood beside my the bed and asked :-

Damien : Mummy, how are u ?
Me : I am fine, darling. Want to look at 弟弟 ?
Damien : Yes, YES .. Mummy is he a Chinese Boy or Indian Boy ?
Me : !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i returned home with Ryan, Damien watch over him everyday.
He request to carry Ryan the moment he's awake.

 As times passes, more attention was shown onto Ryan when he learn to turn, crawl, throwing tantrums and walk. Damien suddenly become a problematic boy, he will often shout at Ryan for touching his toys, not drinking his milk, drooling (???) and Damien was constantly yelling at Ryan + everyone.
I was in a dilemma, i had given Damien enough attention and affection why is he feeling this way.
So i decided to bring him out on a 1 to 1 date. We talked about his recent bad attitudes/behaviours. He told me he was sad when everyone shower their attention to Ryan, no one remembers about him.
No one say, Hello Damien anymore .. Everytime someone sees them, the person will say Hello Ryan instead.

We had a good talk that day and i apologized for being sensitive enough to his feelings.
After that day, things got better, no more yelling no more defiance ...
He knows that he must close his door when he's playing the Thomas Train set, building his Legos or doing his artwork with scissors. He will speak softly when Ryan is asleep.
Yesterday night, he heard Ryan cry and rush into my room to coax him, i stood by the door and watched him secretly and it melts my heart to see them together ... Loving again (^,^)

Snook Me ~ I'm Dumb

Ryan is due for his 12 months old jab.
After hearing from a friend that Singapore Citizen Baby get Jab for free, i thought what the hack its free and i'm broke, let's go for freebie...
I called up the NHC group to enquiry about the Jab most importantly if its FREE.
So the customer service/nurse told me its free and i can make an appointment to minimize the waiting time.

And so, its the date of appointment.
I was awed by the revamp at CCK Polyclinic ( I am Suaku, Can ?)
 The only cons about having the jab at polyclinic is, its the nurses who attends to u not the Doc.
After waiting for around 10mins, we were usher into the "INJECTION RM" they called it.
The nurse went through Ryan's health booklet and said :-

Nurse :Aiyo, you go Pediatricians ar previously.. very siong lor !
Me : I didn't know there was the free jab for SG citizen babies :(
Nurse : Wah, how much you pay there each visit, got $100 or more ??
*  Do you have to 在伤口撒盐 *
Nurse : No problem, now you know next time come here but you almost complete the jab so 1 more to go
* More salt , more pepper ~~~ *

After the jab, Ryan looks ok and was cleared to go.

Decided to go Taka for Crystal Jade Korean ...
Luckily there wasn't a queue cause i was famished.
Had our lunch and left Taka, upon exiting the carpark HB grumble about the Carpark bcs its $5.27 for 1hour 15mins of parking.

While if you like to ION so much ... we shall do that next time ..
But i have to spend a min of $100 to redeem the 50% rebate on carpark .. Yah :)
